The Airmar B164 is a bronze through-hull transducer with 50/200 kHz dual-frequency performance and 1 kW power. Its tilted element design is made for flush mounting without a fairing.
This model features a 20° tilted element for 16° to 24° hull deadrise angles. The low-profile bronze housing extends less than 6.35 mm (0.25") below the hull, so it can sit on trailer rollers and bunks.
It provides depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing, with a 50 kHz beamwidth of 22° for depth performance to 549 m (1800') and a 200 kHz beamwidth of 6° for depth performance to 244 m (800'). It interfaces to any 600 W or 1 kW echo sounder and uses an Airmar 9-Pin (MM1) connector with a required cable.
Key details include Acoustic Window: Urethane, cable length: 2 M (6.5'), weight: 2.7 kg (6 lbs), hole size: 95 mm (3-3/4"), usable shaft length: 71 mm (2.80"), and hull material compatibility for fiberglass or wood.
