Star Brite Marine Silicone Sealant is a black, 2.8 oz sealant designed to create a waterproof, airtight seal for marine and home use.
It bonds to fiberglass, wood, glass, metal, and plastic, and is suitable for above and below waterline marine applications. The durable formula resists cracking, shrinking, and yellowing while withstanding sunlight and chemicals.
Application is straightforward: make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free from oil, then cut the nozzle to the desired size and apply firm, continuous pressure for an even flow. Immediate tooling is possible as the sealant surface will skin over in 10 minutes. Excess sealant can be wiped away with a clean, dry cloth, and residue on porous surfaces can be removed with a paint thinner-dampened cloth.
