This Plum Publications book and DVD set explores the Chinese Bandit Knife, a Kung Fu weapon with a martial tradition of over one thousand years. It goes beyond learning a form to explain how armed warfare shaped many of Kung Fu's most effective techniques.
The paperback book is 144 pages and includes photos and illustrations. The companion 45 minute DVD covers basic training with the Bandit Knife, including grips, fundamental movements, and basic strikes.
The form is then broken down with closeups and details so it is easier to learn and practice. Practice the weapon, learn the form, and spar with the applications.
