Explosive Punching is a 60-minute self-defense DVD by John Ottenberg from Plum Publications, built around a dynamic martial method rooted in classical martial arts.
Using a three-step approach of Motion, Movement and Technique, Ottenberg explains a progression developed from his experience as a fighter, a soldier, and an "indoor student" under one of the 20th century's greatest self-defense instructors.
This program emphasizes immediate improvement in punching, learning by deep repetition rather than memorizing tricks, and moving from basic punching into more complex and devastating actions. It also teaches black-belt-level ideas from the start, including how to customize technique to your own body and think for yourself.
