BOOK ONLY! This 225-page book by Ted Mancuso presents a step-by-step approach to learning Bagua Zhang through what he calls “narrative instruction.” It begins with key hand motions, then moves into Bagua’s circle-walking and foot patterns.
The lessons continue by joining hands and legs into core Bagua movements, then applying them to partner practice and self-defense. The book also covers the Bagua poles, Bagua’s own special Qigong practice, and the never-before-explained Dragon Fighting.
This title is the companion text to the DVD, Bagua Zhang: The Art of Change, and adds strategy and background information that complements what is shown in the video. It is designed to build core movements into a complete Bagua practice that can aid ANY form of Bagua Zhang.
