The Beginning Vault Complete Vault Mat System is a 3-piece vault training setup with one 5' x 10' x 32" pit and two 5' x 10' x 8" mats. It is designed to provide the required 32", 40" and 48" high landing surfaces.
The pit and mats are covered in solid 18 oz. vinyl with a strategically placed mesh window for optimal air expulsion. Top and side surfaces include a permanently attached yellow vinyl strip 32" from the front edge, so there is no need for taping and measuring before competition.
The 8" mats secure to the top of the pit with hook and loop fasteners. The 32" pit is filled with prime polyurethane ripple/lattice foam sections, and the 8" mats use vinyl tops with forgiving polyurethane fillers for “Flatback” landings. This system is designed specifically for vault development training and competition in Gymnastics Equipment.
