This Schwinn bottom bracket is an ISIS (International Splined Interface System) drive style part with a round splined shaft that mates to the round splined hole of the crank arm.
It has a 1 3/8" diameter for the mounting hole in the frame of certain Schwinn IC bikes. Because ISIS replacements can vary in size, the diameter must match the bottom bracket being replaced.
Not compatible with Schwinn bikes manufactured 2003 and earlier that use a square tapered shaft. For drivetrain-related parts, see Cycling Drivetrain Parts & Components or compare with Bottom Bracket Schwinn.
