This Schwinn bottom bracket is an ISIS (International Splined Interface System) drive style part with a round splined shaft that mates to the round splined hole of the crank arm.
It has a 1 3/8" diameter for the mounting hole in the frame of certain Schwinn IC bikes. Because ISIS replacements can vary in size, the diameter must match the bottom bracket being replaced.
