This Schwinn bottom bracket features a square tapered shaft with ends that mate to a square hole in the left crank arm and the right crank arm with sprocket.
It is used on Schwinn Elite/Pro/IC Pro & IC Elite indoor cycles manufactured 2003 and earlier. It is not compatible with Schwinn bikes manufactured 2004 and later, which use the ISIS bottom bracket.
