Replace the bolt and washer used at the ends of dumbbell handles that fit the standard plates. The washer acts as a retainer for the weighted plates, helping keep them from sliding off the end of the handle while the bolt holds the washer in place.
Washer measurements: Outside Diameter - 1 1/2", Inside Diameter - 5/8", Thickness - 3/8". Bolt measurements: Diameter - 5/8", Length - 1.5". The bolt uses a 5/16" allen wrench.
