This plastic water bottle cage is made for LeMond RevMaster bikes and clamps to the handlebar. Per the manufacturer, it replaces the wire bottle cage previously used, with the same basic footprint.
It can be used as a direct replacement on Revmaster bikes with loop handlebars that are entirely covered with the rubber gripping. If your bike has a split grip handlebar with only partial grip covering, you can re-use the handlebar clamp from the old wire water bottle cage to keep the same placement, or move the mounting location to the frame of the bike or the grip-covered area of the handlebars. The clamp can also be removed to mount the bottle holder to the bike frame.
