The SeaTalk1 to USB Interface is a compact converter that links a SeaTalk network to an NMEA 0183 network or device. It provides bi-directional conversion, so it can convert SeaTalk1 to NMEA data and also convert NMEA to SeaTalk for use with 3rd party transducers and sensors.
Powered from the SeaTalk network, it uses easy red, black and yellow wire colour coding and features a reliable multi-stage transistor SeaTalk interface, an opto-isolated NMEA0183 input, and a differential NMEA0183 output. It converts all of the key navigational data and supports raw data mode for developers.
The USB version is designed for a simple plug in USB connection for PC, MAC and Linux, and is ideal for use with nav programs. It also connects direct to SeaTalk1 cabling using familiar red, black and yellow wiring.
