The HDO Blue Heavy Polishing Pad 6.5" x 1" is designed for long throw polishers and features a dual-layer foam construction for an even polish with less concern about overheating and damage.
Blue pads are intended for heavy defects, harder paint surfaces, and deep etching. Use this pad with medium to heavy cutting compounds for correction-focused polishing work.
The dual-layer design reduces lateral and horizontal movement, helps lower molecular friction inside the pad, and increases durability by reducing heat and foam fatigue. The center cooling chamber dissipates heat away from the center of the pad for better temperature control.
Its shape combines even pressure distribution like an exact fit pad with the precision and safety of a tapered pad. The tapered edge helps prevent pad rolling and supports great pad rotation on curved and contoured panels.
