The Lake Country Sdo Blue Heavy Polishing Pad 6.5" x 7/8" is a Standard Duty Orbital (SDO) pad designed for random orbital DA polishers with a center ventilated backing plate.
Blue pads are used for heavy defects, harder paint surfaces, and deep etching. Use this pad with medium to heavy cutting compounds. The center hole creates a tunnel to release and dissipate heat from the foam, helping reduce surface temperatures. The tapered edge helps prevent pad rolling, supports great pad rotation, and makes the pad useful on curved and contoured panels as well as tight areas.
SDO pads provide the same foams as the HDO line without the dual-layer construction. They are designed for consistent performance, firmness throughout the heat cycle, and durability when used with a long-throw polisher. Fits Backing Plate: 6".
