Star Brite Premium Teak Cleaner - Step 1 - 32 Oz is designed to revive weathered, gray teak by removing old oils, stains, and discoloration.
Use it on outdoor and indoor teak furniture, boat decks, and fine woods. The formula prepares wood for oiling without sanding and will not harm fiberglass or painted surfaces.
For badly weathered teak, apply directly to dry wood, scrub with a stiff-bristle cleaning brush or a Star brite Medium Scrub Pad, allow it to remain on the surface for approximately 1 to 2 minutes, then scrub with the grain and rinse with fresh water.
For lightly stained teak, wet the wood with fresh water first, then apply and scrub lightly before rinsing thoroughly. After cleaning, use Outdoor products to explore more care essentials. Next step: apply Star brite Premium Teak Brightener, then protect cleaned wood with Star brite Premium Golden Teak Oil or Teak Oil Sealer.
