Bring a classic literary theme to your chess collection with the Alice In Wonderland Chess Pieces - 3.5" King - Metallic by Berkeley Chess.
This chess set is based on characters from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. The figures are inspired by John Tenniel’s illustrations, and the 3.5" King is offered in a Metallic option.
Lewis Carroll, the pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, wrote the stories to amuse and entertain the young children of the Dean of Christ Church, Oxford. In Through the Looking Glass, Alice appears as the White Queen’s pawn and advances to the eighth square, where she becomes a Queen.
