Caxton's Game And Playe Of The Chesse, 1474 is a historic chess book from Ishi Press and the first book on chess ever published.
It is also one of the first books ever published anywhere in Europe on any subject. The book covers the actions of the king, queen, bishop, knight, rook, and pawn, and describes the history of the game of chess. It does not provide opening traps or ways to win your next opponent.
