Chess Camp - Volume 3 is a training chess book for beginning chessplayers, as well as parents and coaches who teach them. Published by Mongoose Press and written by Igor Sukhin, this 2010 volume uses Figurine (FAN) notation and includes 116 pages.
In Checkmates with Many Pieces, the third volume in the series, the student learns to find mate in more complex positions, begins studying chess openings and their typical checkmating scenarios, and starts applying basic tactical tools such as the pin, discovered check, and double check.
The learning approach starts with simple problems and progresses to more complex positions, helping students build thinking habits by working through each idea step by step.
