Chess Duels 1927–1929 is a hardcover chess book from Chess Player featuring 163 games annotated by Alexander Alekhine.
It includes games from New York 1927, Kecskemet 1927, the World Championship Match 1927 with Capablanca, Bradley Beach 1929, and the World Championship Match with Bogolyubov 1929, plus 27 games from various chess tournaments, matches, and simultaneous exhibitions.
The appendix adds 23 additional games from 1907-1926 that were not included in the previous three volumes of the Chess Duels. All 163 games were analyzed by A. Alekhine in tournament books, selections of his games, chess magazines, and chess columns such as La Nacion and Basel Nachrichten.
