Chess Opening Repertoire: Semi-Slav is a New In Chess title by Nicolas Yap that builds a complete Black repertoire against 1 d4 around the Semi-Slav: 1 d4 d5 2 c4 e6 3 Nc3 Nf6 4 Nf3 c6.
This opening balances solidity and dynamism, offering sound play with plenty of latent aggressive possibilities. The book gives a thorough, in-depth examination of a complex modern variation and includes strong answers to many early Bf4 lines that have grown popular in recent years.
It also uses a question and answer method to continually test your understanding, making it especially useful for players who like to study opening theory in detail. Browse more in Uncategorised or compare with Chess Openings For Dummies.
