This book presents Vladimir Tukmakov’s account of the Candidates 2020 in Yekaterinburg. Tukmakov, born in Odessa in 1946, was one of the strongerst Ukranian grandmasters and the winner of several strong tournaments, including the Ukranian Championship in 1970.
He also finished second in three Soviet championships in 1970, 1972 and 1983. As a captain, he led Ukraine to Chess Olympiad cold in 2004 and 2010, and he captained the victorious SOCAR team in the European Club Cup in 2012 and 2014. He also worked as a professional coach with Geller, Tseshkovksy, Karpov, Korchnoi, Eljanov, Giri, Radjabov and So. This is his third book for Thinkers Publishing.
