A thoughtful chess anthology from Caissa Editions, 60 Years On With Caissa And Friends presents a collection of over one hundred of Alan Phillips’ favorite games, taken from 1946-1999.
Phillips, a British master who remained an amateur player, also includes a comparable number of brilliant games by his British contemporaries. The selection is rich in sparkling tactics and covers major chess openings, including romantic gambits, the Ruy Lopez, the Sicilian, the King's Indian Defense, and the King's Indian Reversed.
