Chess Strategy by Chess Australia is a book by Michael Salter, a student at Sydney University and a well-known junior chess coach in New South Wales.
Michael Salter is also the Games Editor of the NSW Junior Chess League magazine Junior Chess. As one of Australia’s leading juniors during the late 80's and early 90's, he is well qualified to write on Australian chess play during this period.
In this second book, Michael describes the strategic aspects of chess by reference to games played by young and some not so young Australians at home and abroad. It is essential reading for anyone interested in the development of Australian chess.
