Together With Mamedyarov is a chess study book from Thinkers Publishing and a continuation of the Kuzmin series.
Written primarily for players with an Elo rating from 1400–2100, it uses test positions from the games of Azeri grandmaster Shakhriyar Mamedyarov to train tactical vision, calculation of variations, strategic decision-making, and position assessment. The book is not a collection of selected games; it is a study-book with detailed comments on the solutions.
Solutions are placed right after each diagram with a test, except for the six warm-up positions at the beginning of chapter one. The tests in chapter one correspond to an Elo rating of 1400–1900, while chapter two is aimed at players rated 1700–2100. The solutions are scored from 1 up to 7, helping readers estimate their level and identify where they need more work.
This title is especially relevant for young chess players, fans of Mamedyarov’s creative play, and coaches. Browse more titles in Accessories > Chess Books or compare it with Clearance - Thinkers Publishing Chess Puzzle Book 2016.
