The DGT Centaur Chess Computer lets you play chess on a real board with real pieces instead of a screen, tablet, or telephone. It is an adaptive intelligent chess computer that automatically adjusts to your playing strength for a fair, challenging game.
Its sensor board uses touch sensors to register moves, while unique circular LED lights indicate the computer’s moves. It also includes a rechargeable internal battery, an e-Paper display, intuitive settings in many languages, weighted plastic chess pieces, a hint system, and the option to set up any position.
Centaur is designed for beginners, home players, strong players, and club players alike. It does not connect to your computer or online chess portals. For more internal shopping options, see Accessories > Bags & Backpacks or browse Cable By The Foot, 3/16" Diameter With Clear Nylon Coating.
Note: This chess computer will not work with the “DGT Projects Enabled Electronic Chess Pieces” offered on our website.
