The Vienna Game is a dynamic and flexible chess opening that offers rich, original play with less theoretical burden than many mainstream openings. This ChessBase training course is guided by IM Andrew Martin, FIDE Senior Trainer and long-time ChessBase author.
The course covers three main approaches: f2–f4 systems for aggressive King’s Gambit-style positions with added flexibility, early Bc4 lines for solid long-term pressure including the Frankenstein–Dracula Variation, and g3 systems for control of d5 with attacking potential. The video course runs for approx. 4-8 hrs. and includes a repertoire database, interactive exercises with video feedback, and sample games as a ChessBase database.
