Elementary Checkmates - Volume I is a chess training download from The House Of Staunton designed to help beginners avoid missing a mate in one and build stronger checkmating skills.
Developed by the chess experts at Convekta, this comprehensive course includes over 40,000 exercises and is also an excellent tool for speed training with players of all skill levels. The exercises use only a limited number of pieces on the board, making the program ideal for learning the basic checkmate patterns.
Features include the ability to study the training materials and test your knowledge, review your rating history, and keep track of the progress of multiple users so you can compete against friends and family members.
