WinTD Tournament Director Software is designed to make running a chess tournament as painless as possible. Its intuitive graphical interface keeps the information you need easy to access, so pairing rounds, entering game results, and printing charts take just a few mouse clicks or keystrokes.
The program gives you a great deal of control over the pairing process, including drop/raise decisions, interchanges of players to improve color assignments, and more. You can also customize displays and printed output for tasks such as showing players who have not paid the entry fee or who have not checked in.
WinTD works well for small scholastic and club events as well as the largest cash prize tournaments. Scholastic support includes grouping players by class/grade and team competition, and you can export tournament results in the USCF's Tournament Administrator format for submission to the USCF.
The Windows version of WinTD runs under any recent version of Windows, from 95/98 through System 7. INSTALLATION REQUIRES INTERNET ACCESS, BUT USAGE OF SOFTWARE DOES NOT REQUIRE INTERNET ACCESS.
