This chess DVD from The House Of Staunton features Andrew Martin’s guide to the Bronstein-Larsen system in the Caro-Kann. It is designed as a clear introduction to a sharp line for players who want to take the initiative with Black.
After 1 e4 c6 2 d4 d5 3 Nc3 (or 3 Nd2) dxe4 4 Nxe4 Nf6 5 Nxf6+ gxf6!, the position becomes unbalanced. The DVD focuses on the main themes and ideas so you can better understand this dynamic variation.
It is an excellent way to approach the Caro-Kann for players aiming to win with Black, and it highlights why 5...gxf6! can be a practical choice. See more in Accessories > Chess Books and related study material like E-Dvd Foxy Openings - Volume 119 - Anti-Gambit Guide For 1. E4.
