This chess DVD explores the Colle System for tournament players, with IM and FIDE Senior Trainer Andrew Martin showing why this classic opening still works in modern chess.
Using mostly modern games plus a few classics, Martin demonstrates how strong players can underestimate the Colle and miss its subtleties. He also shows that the opening is flexible and easy to learn, can lead to superior positions in the Stonewall, and can produce great positions and even quick wins.
Volume Two uses an additional 19 games to cover remaining lines when Black plays an early ...e6, as well as lines where Black delays ...e6 until the bishop is developed on c8. It also addresses Nf6 & g6, c6 Slav setup, B-f5, and B-g4. Browse more in Accessories > Chess DVDs and compare with Foxy Openings - Volume 154 - The Classical French.
