How To Reassess Your Chess - 4th Edition is Jeremy Silman’s modern classic on chess strategy, published by Siles Press and marked as published under the Silman James Press brand.
This 2010 edition has 658 pages and uses Algebraic (AN) notation. It was completely rewritten with all new examples, and it is designed for players in the 1400 to 2100 rating range as well as teachers looking for a ready-made chess curriculum.
Silman’s imbalance-based approach is expanded in depth, with a section called Psychological Meanderings that focuses on the mental and emotional obstacles that can hold players back. The book also uses hundreds of games, clear instruction, and engaging stories to explain each concept.
