This imperfect Morphy chess set from The House of Staunton is made from genuine ebony and boxwood. It is a full club-sized set with a 4.0" King and a 1.875" diameter base. The pieces are hand-carved by master artisans from the highest grade woods. The design reintroduces one produced by Jaques of London between 1850 and 1851.
The two Genuine Ebony Knights have cracks on their bases, and the Genuine Ebony Queen has a hairline crack on its base. Other minor imperfections may be present and are not pictured.
