The House of Staunton Imperfect - 4.4" Vintage Biedermeier - Genuine Ebony / Distressed Boxwood - Wood Chess Pieces bring classic pre-Staunton styling to your chess collection.
This set features a 4.4" King with a 1.5" diameter base and brass weighting. The pieces are made in genuine ebony and distressed boxwood, with the tall, slender Biedermeier profile and disc-like bases.
The bishop design includes the distinctive sloped headpiece with its protruding staff, while the overall styling is inspired by the more primitive Selenus design of the 18th century. Learn more in our Chess Pieces category.
