These imperfect Westminster Artisan Series wooden chessmen are listed in Genuine Ebony / Boxwood and feature a 4.4" King with a 1.85" diameter base. They are very heavily weighted and hand-carved by master artisans from the highest grade woods. The design is intended for practical play while retaining an elegant appearance.
The inspection report notes a scrape mark on the Genuine Ebony Queen's midsection; tool marks on the Blood Rosewood King's base; scrapes on the Blood Rosewood Rook's base; and a hairline crack on the Blood Rosewood Pawn's base. One Blood Rosewood Knight and one Blood Rosewood Rook have been replaced and do not 100% match the set. Other minor imperfections may be present and may not be pictured.
