Mackenzie, Mason & Co., Part VIII is a chess history book by Chess Player, written by Dutch journalist Joost van Winsen. It explores New York chess in 1876 as part of the series covering New York chess from 1866 to 1880.
This eighth volume includes more than 210 games, the story of the leading masters of the metropolis, and coverage of neglected players. It is illustrated with scarce photographs and many diagrams, and it concludes with eight indices.
The series includes Part I (1866-1867), Part II (1868), Part III (1869), Part IV (1870), Part V (1871-1872), Part VI (1873), and Part VII (1874-1875). Browse more books in Uncategorised or view another related item like 9" Folding Pocket Comb.
