The 2026 Sinquefield Cup Official Series Chess Pieces are a limited edition, DGT-Enabled set from The House of Staunton. Only 5 sets have been produced, and the Official 2026 sets will never be produced again.
This official tournament chess set is used by the players at the Sinquefield Cup, an important Grand Chess Tour event featuring ten of the best players in the world. Each set includes 34 Chessmen, including four Queens, and the pieces are weighted with The House of Staunton’s patented weighting technique (U.S. Patent No. 11,000,757). The set also comes with a lifetime warranty against hairline cracks.
Every set includes an original manufacturer's plaque showing the production number, with an adhesive backing for placement on the underside of a chess box. The chessmen are packed in a House of Staunton Premium Chess Box with the Sinquefield Cup name and logo laser engraved on the lid, plus a Certificate of Authenticity hand-signed by all ten participants.
