Berkeley Chess Roman Themed Chess Pieces recreate the imperious atmosphere of early Rome with a Brown & Natural finish and a heavily weighted feel.
The set features a King modeled after Julius Caeser in the Roman period, a Queen as a lady of noble birth in typical dress, a Bishop as a standard bearer carrying the insignia of the Legion, a Knight as an equestrian soldier of the period, a Rook as a Roman garrison tower, and a Pawn as an armed Legionaire of the period. The King height is 4.25" and the base is 1.3".
