Opening Originals is a chess book from Russell Enterprises focused on sound and dangerous opening ideas that have escaped wide notice.
It covers ideas for 1.e4, 1.d4, and 1.c4 openings, for White or for Black, with options ranging from sharp lines to quiet ones. The explanations are concept-based, so little memorization is required.
Daniel Lowinger presents a select menu of opening ideas you can pick and choose from, backed by thorough research and independent analysis. The foreword is by Danish Grandmaster Lars Bo Hansen.
