The 2023 Champions Showdown Chess 9LX Official Series Chess Pieces are a limited-edition, DGT-enabled chess set from The House Of Staunton. Only 5 sets were produced, and the Official 2023 sets will never be produced again.
These chessmen were selected for the 2023 Champions Showdown Chess 9LX tournament and are designed with a 3.75" King Height to fully adhere to both USCF and FIDE tournament rules on DGT Project Electronic Sensor Boards. Each set includes 34 chessmen, including four Queens.
Every chess set comes with a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity signed by all ten participants, plus an original manufacturer’s plaque indicating the production number. The set is packed in a House of Staunton Mahogany Premium Chess Box with the Chess 960 name and logo laser engraved on the lid.
