The Alban Series Chess Pieces from The House Of Staunton are a finely crafted wooden chess set with a 4.0" King and a 1.785" diameter base. Each set is new and includes 34 Chessmen, including four Queens.
The knight is meticulously hand-carved, while the other pieces are turned on precision lathes and then hand-finished. The Chess pieces are crafted out of the highest grade woods, heavily weighted, and finished with luxurious billiard cloth base pads and a beautiful finish.
Designed to combine distinct beauty and practical functionality, the Alban Series is made for regular play while keeping a classic, recognizable style. Browse more options in Accessories > Chess Pieces or compare it with the The Almeria Series Luxury Chess Pieces - 4.4" King.
