The Aristocrat Series Luxury Chess Pieces from The House of Staunton are a full club-sized chess set featuring a 4.4" King with a 1.875" diameter base.
Each chess piece is hand carved by master artisans and crafted from the highest grade woods. The set is heavily weighted with a beautiful finish. The Kings feature English Leather embossed with the House of Staunton logo, and all other pieces feature luxurious green baize.
This new chessmen set includes 34 chessmen total, with four Queens, a standard introduced by The House of Staunton in 1993. Each set also comes with an Individually Numbered Certificate of Authenticity and an original manufacturer's plaque with adhesive backing for the underside of a chess box.
