The chessmen are an exact reproduction of the most popular Chessmen used at tournament and Chess Clubs in the United States. This full tournament-sized set features a 3.75" King with a 1.5" diameter base, is hand carved by master artisans, and crafted out of the highest grade woods. The pieces are heavily weighted, finished beautifully, and include luxurious billiard cloth base pads. Each new set consists of 34 Chessmen, including four Queens.
The Wooden Tournament Mahogany / Maple Chessboard has 2.0" squares, Mahogany (dark) and Maple (light) squares, a Mahogany frame, a 0.5" thickness, and a satin finish. The Slide Top Box is lined in green velour, divided, and is ideal for a full tournament-sized set of Chessmen.
