The Isle Of Lewis Chess Pieces are Berkeley Chess replicas inspired by the originals discovered on the Isle of Lewis off the west coast of Scotland.
This version features a 3.5" king and a red and natural finish. The Isle of Lewis chessmen are among the most famous ancient chess pieces ever found, with 78 pieces in all belonging to eight or more sets; 67 are now in the British Museum and the rest in the National Museum, Edinburgh.
These chessmen were also featured in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Browse more options in Accessories > Chess Pieces or compare with The 2024 Sinquefield Cup Player's Edition Series Chess Pieces.
