The London System in 12 Practical Lessons is a practical chess book from New In Chess about one of the most popular 1.d4 openings.
The London System offers White a reliable set of lines against virtually every Black defence after 1.d4, with choices between strategic and more aggressive approaches while avoiding loads of opening theory. Oscar de Prado revisits the opening with a focus on straightforward plans, clear-cut strategies, standard manoeuvres, recently played games, and important theoretical updates.
It is designed for players who do not have much time to study and want an efficient way to learn a flexible opening that is easy to learn and hard to counter. Browse more in Chess Books or compare it with Nic Yearbook 121 - Paperback Edition.
