Bring the world of Sherlock Holmes to the board with this collector’s chess piece set from Berkeley Chess. This Brown And Natural edition features a 5.95" King and reimagines the classic characters of Arthur Conan Doyle’s stories in sculpted form.
Each piece is crafted from reconstituted marble, meticulously weighted, hand-sculpted, and finished with a protective felt base. The character lineup includes Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty as Kings, Mrs Hudson and Irene Adler as Queens, Dr Watson and C A Milverton as Bishops, Wiggins & Toby and the Hounds of the Baskervilles as Knights, Inspector Lestrade and Col Moran as Rooks, and Policemen and Thugs as Pawns.
Made by Berkeley Chess in Somerset, this design combines traditional production techniques, a silicon mould, and a unique staining and polishing process to highlight the original sculptures’ detail.
