This Book & DVD Set by Ted Mancuso introduces Bagua Zhang, a practice described as exotic, effective, beautiful, and practical. It blends the grace of Tai Chi with the skill of Kung Fu, bringing together martial and health practices with philosophy.
The set explains The Eight Animals core practice for Bagua, which combines Bagua’s signature circle walking with eight special Qigong postures. The 141 page book uses photos and text to clearly break down each movement, and the 35 minute DVD presents the complete set plus fundamentals.
Originally developed for introductory seminars, this set also includes demonstrations of pole work rarely seen. Ted Mancuso’s narrative teaching style appears throughout, and he has taught Chinese martial arts for more than forty-five years.
