This ball and shank cable fitting is made for use with 3/16" wire rope. This is the diameter of the wire rope. Coated cable diameter is 1/4".
Cable coating should be stripped prior to crimping fitting to cable.
Ball and shank cable fittings are designed to be rotary-swaged with tool and die. It is not recommended to hand crimp this type of fitting. Sportsmith does not offer a tool for this fitting.
