The Streamlight Sidewinder Stalk with Helmet Clip is a hands-free lighting tool with white, IR, red, blue, and green LEDs mounted in the head on a flexible stalk. It includes low, medium, high, and strobe modes, plus an additional IR/IFF beacon.
At 100% white LED output, High – CR123A delivers 76 lumens with a 28m beam and a 5.6 hour runtime. High – AA delivers 57 lumens with a 23m beam and a 6 hour runtime with AA lithium or 3.8 hours with AA alkaline. It includes one CR123A lithium battery and AA alkaline battery, and also accepts 1 AA lithium battery.
The durable clip attaches to a helmet or MOLLE vest for flexible use. It features a push-button power switch, a pull-to-turn rotary selector knob to help prevent accidental mode changes, and an IFF strobe controlled by a three-position switch with a center “Off” position and two “On” positions. It powers on at low output and steps up to high in three discrete stages.
Built for demanding conditions, it is IP67 rated, dust-tight and waterproof to 1m for 30 minutes, with O-Ring and gasket sealed openings. It meets MIL-STD-810H, Method 512.6, is tested to 3-meter impact resistance, includes a one-year warranty, and is assembled in USA.
