The Lake Country HDO Black Finishing Polishing Pad 6.5" x 1" is designed for long throw polishers with a dual-layer construction for smooth, even finishing.
Black foam pads are used for final refinement, jeweling, and very light swirls on soft paint. Use it with extra fine finishing polish to remove cutting haze and refine the surface to a flawless gloss. On very soft paints, it can also work as a one-step for very light swirls.
The HDO design combines the benefits of thick and thin pads, reduces lateral/horizontal movement, helps limit heat buildup, and supports durability by reducing foam fatigue. Its tapered profile also helps with even pressure distribution, great pad rotation, and safer use on curved and contoured panels.
