The Lake Country HDO Orange Polishing Pad with CCS Technology is an orbital foam pad sized 3.5" x 1" for polishing and light correction.
Orange pads are used for fine scratches and general light swirls, and work with a medium-cut compound or polish. The orange foam can also serve as a cutting pad on softer paints or when defects are not too severe. On harder paint surfaces, it is a strong choice for finishing to a brilliant gloss.
CCS Technology™ uses strategic patterns of partially closed foam cells to slow the rate of polish absorption, help prevent pad skipping, and keep the pad running flatter on the surface. The dual-layer design reduces lateral/horizontal movement, lowers friction inside the pad, and helps reduce excessive heat and foam fatigue. Fits backing plate: 3".
