The Lake Country HDO Orange Polishing Pad with CCS Technology is a 5.5" x 1" foam pad designed for polishing, light correction, and finishing.
Orange pads are used for fine scratches and general light swirls, and work with a medium-cut compound or polish. This pad can also be used as a cutting pad on softer paints or when defects are not too severe. On harder paint surfaces, the orange foam is a strong choice for finishing to a brilliant gloss.
CCS Technology™ uses strategic patterns of partially closed foam cells to slow polish absorption, help prevent pad skipping, and keep the pad running flatter on the working surface. The dual-layer design reduces lateral/horizontal movement, lowers friction inside the pad, and helps improve durability by reducing heat and foam fatigue. Fits backing plate: 5".
